ABSTRACT
The indigenous religions of Sub-Saharan Africa have been much influenced by Christianity and Islam. Thus, it is now intellectually false to consider these two religions as foreign to African life, although both religions have been reinterpreted through the idioms and cultural precepts of Africa.
