ABSTRACT
The Irish Social Science Data Archive (ISSDA) was established in 2000, as a joint initiative of University College Dublin and the Economic and Social Research Institute. Based in UCD, the archive is a component of the Institute for the Study of Social Change. Its establishment and development has been facilitated by grants from the HEA’s Programme for Research in Third Level Institutes, part of the National Development Plan.
