ABSTRACT

Software modules that have been formally tested previously need not be subject to Software Module Testing on a project so long as:

• The supplier (or possibly the user) can reference the previous test results. • The software module has been under formal change control as part of a recognised quality

system and is demonstrably the same version. • No other changes in the system (such as the hardware, application version, database

version, operating system version, etc.) invalidate the previous testing.
