ABSTRACT
In previous chapters I have paid much attention to the theory and application of error propagation in enviromental modelling with GIS. Multiple techniques can be used to analyse how errors propagate through GIS operations, but none of these techniques has as yet been fully incorporated in any professional GIS package. Thus an important question is how error propagation techniques can best be implemented in a GIS.
