ABSTRACT
There are two principal ligamentous injuries associated with radial head fractures; firstly, elbow dislocation, and secondly, disruption of the radio-ulnar interosseous ligamentacute longitudinal radio-ulnar dissociation (ALRUD). With dislocation the aim is to prevent valgus instability and with ALRUD to prevent longitudinal forearm collapse.
