Reconstruction: Or why you can never step into the same river twice

They say your past catches up with you. Reflecting over the 25 years of collaborative performance history between Aggiss and Cowie, a truer word has not been spoken. Either through invitation, or commission, some notable performances were reconstructed in 1999 including: work by the The Wild Wigglers (1982-1990), Grotesque Dancer (1986) and Die Orchidee im Plastik Karton (1989); Bird in a Ribcage, made for Transitions Dance Company in 1995, was reconstructed in 1999; Vier Tänze, a collection of dances choreographed by Hilde Holger in the 1920s and 1930s, was reconstructed on Aggiss in 1993.
