ABSTRACT
Many titles were suggested for this book, some fairly standard, some pretty obvious, others quite possible – but when Aggiss came up with Anarchic Dance it seemed entirely appropriate. In this essay I would like to examine just why this appellation seems so relevant to this body of work and what if anything it actually means.
