ABSTRACT
Ejection Fraction represents the percent or fraction of left ventricular diastolic volume which is ejected in systole (stroke volume/diastolic volume). Some authors report that one can make a reasonable "eyeball" estimate of ejection fraction from 2D echo, without actual measurements.
