ABSTRACT

The main aim of this chapter is to examine the effectiveness of enterprise culture policies according to their own stated objectives. Particular attention is paid to the major enterprise culture policy-enterprise training-and the main fiscal policy-the Enterprise Allowance Scheme (EAS). Before an examination of the empirical evidence concerning these two central policies, however, it is worth considering the theoretical underpinnings of the enterprise culture model more critically.
