ABSTRACT
Agreement must be reached between lender and museum, before the object is collected, on all aspects of the insurance. These will include who is responsible for insuring, the sum insured for and the risks covered. The arrangements for the loan, how long it is for and any conditions, must be carefully set out in the Loan In Form completed as part of the entry documentation (see Unit 49).
