ABSTRACT
Closely aligned with performance assessment at institutional and personal level (see Units 82 and 94), evaluation for museums is of increasing importance in many countries. Critically, it examines what benefits flow from a museum and its work (see Unit 4) and seeks to present these in quantitative and qualitative terms to support arguments for investment.
