'Abd al-Rahmān ibn Muhammad al-Ansārī al-Usaydī al-Dabbāgh, also called Ibn al-Dab-bāgh, scion of an old family of fuqahā He wrote a valuable biographical work on saints and scholars who lived in or visited his native Qayrawan (Kairouan).
