ABSTRACT
In previous chapters we discussed how to calculate friction factors and pressure loss due to friction in a pipeline using various equations such as Colebrook-White, Hazen-Williams, etc. We also analyzed the internal pressure allowable in a pipe and how to determine pipe wall thickness required for a specific internal pressure and pipe material, according to design code.
