Readers who would prefer the traditional TLM presentation (whether they are electrical engineers or not), or would like to review it in conjunction with the approaches presented here, may proceed directly to the next chapter or should refer to the considerable volume of literature now available in both journal papers and in textbooks. The present book is intended to fill a gap not already covered in this literature.
