ABSTRACT

A new none-village-relocation coal mining technology with paste backfill is studied. The paste material is composed of solid waste such as crushed waste rock, sand and so on, together with fly ash, water and one kind of specific compound binder. It is pumped from surface to underground and filled into the gob area in advance of falling of immediate roof rock mass or coal body. In the paste backfill, the specific compound cement is only used 50 kg/m3. And one kind of specially combined form work, which is of good isolation partition, slurry leakage prevention and reusable, is designed. Under the condition of 8 m coal seam, in Taiping Colliery, when the seam is mined in 4 slices and the paste backfilling is applied, the total mining-induced subsidence is predicted about 300 mm and can completely satisfy the requirements to protect buildings. The cost increment is only 23.9 RMB per tone coal.
