ABSTRACT
Technological communication, consisting of the socialisation of external tacit
knowledge and the access and recombination of external codified knowledge plays a
major role in the generation of new localised knowledge. Technological communication
does not flow automatically within an economic system, but requires dedicated
efforts to implement the the understanding and application of knowledge.
