ABSTRACT
This book is intended to introduce the reader to the basic concepts of biopharmaceutics, focusing on the most frequent route of administration, i.e. oral drug delivery. It covers all processes which are involved in the oral absorption of drugs, with an emphasis on the concept of bioavailability.
