ABSTRACT
Soil studies use a large amount of specialized terms
students. The instructor should therefore concentrate on the basic processes and restrict soil types to the major sequences related to slopes and specialized weathering regimes, e.g. the tropics. Once the students are conversant with these a closer look at the descriptive changes between similar soil types and what causes them might be appropriately linked to environmental system change.
