ABSTRACT
The expansion of industrial production in an economy inevitably brings forth new kinds of business organisation and different forms of relationship between firms and has almost always resulted in the growth of a certain number of large-scale enterprises differentiated, in their technical characteristics, the wages and conditions of their workers and managers, and the structure of their internal organisations, from the much larger group of small-scale businesses.
