ABSTRACT

Indications for percutaneous venous endovascular procedures are expanding and techniques for venous interventions are developing rapidly. This chapter will deal mainly with complications of procedures performed for acute or chronic obstruction of the venous outflow of the upper and lower extremities. Complications related to endovascular procedures for malfunctioning dialysis accesses and interruption of the inferior vena cava are discussed in Chapters 34 and 35, respectively.
