ABSTRACT
As part of the remediation process for legacy systems, a retrospective evaluation should be performed on the electronic records recorded after August 1977 using the legacy systems. The objective is to assess the complete system operation, including: procedural controls, change control, data and system security, any additional development or modification of the software using an SLC approach, the maintenance of data integrity, system backups and operator (user) training.
