ABSTRACT

Cestari and colleagues described their results in 35 patients who underwent laparoscopic renal cryosurgery.7 CT-guided biopsies were performed in 25 patients at 6-month follow-up with all biopsies negative for neoplasm. From these studies, it appears that the vast majority of patients undergoing renal cryoablation have no evidence of residual tumor on repeat biopsy.
