ABSTRACT
The subject presented here is the preliminary product of comprehensive research on Bolivian maritime aspirations to Chilean political space. These territorial aspirations have constituted the purpose and political objective of generations of Bolivian politicians and intellectuals in pursuit of access to the coast and influence in the Pacific Ocean.
