The poor man agreed. So, Giucà bought a basket of coal and a sheep.245 He put the coal on the side of the convent of Cappuccini near Trapani and prepared a grill. He lit a fire at the convent of Cappuccini and then ran to the lodge at Scappuccini,246 where he took the sheep and placed it on the grill. Then he began to rotate the spit of the grill without lighting the fire. Everyone who passed by and saw this strange operation (the sheep at the lodge and the fire at the convent) asked him what he was intending to do. And Giucà responded “I’m roasting this sheep.”
