Wewereabletoobtainatablewhichshowsthegeneral volumeoftradeforthemostimportantportsoftheGulffrom1894 to191459andalthoughthesourcedidnotmentionwhetherthis volumewasthatofgeneraltradeintheGulf,wethinkthatitisthe volumeofBritishIndia'stradeintheGulfWemakeuseofthistable toillustratethetradepositionofBahrainatthebeginningofthe20th centuryuntiltheFirstWorldWar.
