ABSTRACT
Theareawasacquaintedwithallthereligionsthatwere practisedinitsenvirons,butdidnotfirmlysupportanyoneofthem asitdidnotreallyhaveanyfixedstandpoint.Theirbroadmindedness andtoleranceofotherpeoplehasremainedoneofthefacetsofan advancedwayoflifeinBahraintothisday.4Theareahadsocial, economic,andculturaltiesaswellasotherlinkswithsouthernIraq, bymeansofwhichtheylearntoftheirdevelopedsystemsandideas. Theybecameacquaintedwithacivilisedwayoflifeandenjoyed goodrelationswiththem.TheareaofBahrainalsohadlinkswithits neighbour,Persia,althoughfromtimetotimeitwastosufferfrom these.So,itkeptonwaitingforanopportunitytoriditselfofthe thingsithadenduredatthehandsoftheseneighbours.
