ABSTRACT
Five categories of people were identified for the purposes of dIe questionnaire: peripatetic teachers, paid non-teacher support (including welfare assistants, ancillaries, auxiliaries, teaching assistants), parents, support services and nursery nurses. Others specified by the headteachers turned out to be home tutors, ESL teachers, secondary school students and volunteers such as school governors and retired people.
