ABSTRACT
In January 1969, Jack Hartshorn telephoned me to say that there had been an indication of interest in the dry dock memorandum. He said that early next month someone from Petromin, the Saudi National Oil Company, would be in London and perhaps a meeting could be arranged. This was great news. I busied myself polishing my presentation of the beneficial aspects of the dry dock and what I considered Saudi Arabia should find of interest.
