ABSTRACT
Aden, dealings \vith the tribes whose relations were under the superintendence of the Aden Residency (whence the term Adell Protectorate) were necessarily lituited mostly to tribes geographically near to Aden, and the Hadhramaut and the Mahra country were left very nluch to their own devices.
