ABSTRACT
CRETAN dress 1 is known to us through objects of all kinds representing human figures. Among men's costumes
there is no great diversity; women's vary extraordinarily. The Minoans of both sexes, however, are always dressed differently from the Greeks. We must forget the costumes of classical antiquity and seek instead points of comparison with modem peoples, at any rate in the matter of feminine fashions.
