ABSTRACT
On the duties of married mussulmen to each other it is said in the Koran IV: "If you treat your wives well and fear to do them harm, then God will know well what you are doing." Further in the same chapter: "It is not possible that you should love all of your wives alike even if you want to. Do not turn from one of your wives with apparent aversion, leave her in uncertainty."
