The sources of children's images of far places are many and various. They hear about visits made by friends and relatives, they watch the Eurovision song contest, they read 'Made in Taiwan' labels on toys, they collect stamps, they eat from the local takeaway restaurant, follow the World Cup, see films, listen to music.
