ABSTRACT
The trainer should begin with an introduction of him/hersclf and discuss the importance of an oral history project to a community. Participants should be made aware of the importance of preserving history for future generations. History allows the past to be revealed in such a way that communities can grow in a positive way, leaving behind past mistakes, and savoring past successes.
