ABSTRACT
There are important tax benefits to working in Mexico. Knowledge of these benefits can be a very useful recruiting tool because, under certain circumstances, income can be earned tax free.
Most large companies are aware of these benefits and educate their employees about them. However, many smaller companies do not know or do not educate their employees about the tax benefits of working in Mexico. The purpose of this chapter is to provide basic tax information about U.S. tax laws related to U.S. citizens working in Mexico.
