ABSTRACT

Studies and experiences reported by various researchers and community educators (Burón, 1996; D'Adamo and Calabró, 1998; Martin, 1998) have found that people (especially those in leading places) when making decisions have the tendency to not think about the act of decision. They have no idea of its importance and meaning; they are not clear about what they want to achieve with the decision, and even more, many times they ignore the fact that they are making decisions. In many cases, decisions are made on the base of institutional connections, or are influenced by the information given by closely related people, or simply according to internal states, without taking into account more data (Deshpande, Schoderberk and Joseph, 1994).
