ABSTRACT
Having learned there are agents and risk factors to disease and other morbid conditions, and that occurrence and distribution are subject to the interaction of person, place, and time characteristics, it is time to look more closely at the dynamics of the disease process. This will shed light on what causes disease and identify opportunities for its control.
