ABSTRACT
It is now obvious that gaming was one of the major worldwide growth industries in the 1990s and that this growth continues into the first decade of the new century. Legalized gaming has existed in Nevada for over seventy years and in New Jersey for over twenty-five years and has been expanded to most of the states in the United States. In Asia, casino gaming has been legalized for over forty years in Macao and over thirty years in Malaysia, and has been proliferating throughout Southeast Asia for the past ten years.
