ABSTRACT

A rabbi’s charge is, and remains, as was our father Avraham’s:1 V’heyeh b’rachah,2 that having been blessed we, in turn, must bless others.

Being modeled after and molded by Divinity, with the Divine Breath pulsing through us,3 we are each created [TzelemN’shamah], each a [Breath-TakingModel of Divinity].4 This is our blessing and our special charge as clergy covenanted in the footsteps of Avraham: to bless others.
