ABSTRACT
When a child is diagnosed with cancer, families experience a devastating life event with immediate and long-term impact on quality of life, actvities of daily living, family dynamics, self identity, parental role, and sense of meaning in the world. However, despite the trauma, more recent studies are highlighting the resilience and functioning of families facing cancer in childhood.
