ABSTRACT

We cannot tell each other about the two most important events occurring in our lives - the first one because our memory is too short and the last because our memory is not long enough. According to the famous ‘Law of Wittgenstein’ (which is actually a poetic line: "Worüber man nicht sprechen kann darüber soll man schweigen" - What one cannot speak about, on that one should be silent), we should keep quiet about birth and death. We have reached the limit here, the Unnameable. This realisation alone should cause us to become humble.
