ABSTRACT
New trends in education, often pitched as magic elixirs, promise to be the “cure-all” for every problem that arises. In an effort to meet the mounting demands of the public and federal government, teachers, administrators, and district personnel are easily enticed into endorsing such panaceas, one of which is the administrator walk-through. Administrators use this practice as an observation tool and to support a school’s most important resource, its teachers.
