ABSTRACT

The brothers Imre, Bolossy, and Arnold Kiralfy, Hungarian dancers and pantomime performers, came to the United States in 1868. For a few years they lived by picking up any jobs they could find: Arnold danced in the 1868 revival of The Black Crook; Imre and Bolossy were the two Harlequins in the 1871 revival of Humpty Dumpty.
