ABSTRACT
Developing higher level thinking processes in any student is dependent upon the social processes of learning, the use of the interpersonal and intrapersonal intelligences identified by Gardner. The development of activities in science for the gifted can make use of these intelligences by using differing types of context, levels of language, communication styles and mathematical skills as differentiating factors.
