ABSTRACT
The development of an individual’s learning style will be influenced by the ease and comfort they experience in the learning situation. The level of security and confidence in one’s skills affects the ability to gain success and will affect the student’s emotional intelligence, self-esteem and motivation. For some gifted students this will be due to the frustration of a curriculum that seems to hold no cultural link for them; for others it will be imperfections in their reasoning capabilities.
