ABSTRACT
Epilepsy is defined as ‘a condition in which there is a tendency for a person to experience recurring epileptic seizures over a period of time’ (Walker & Shorvon). Seizures are a symptom of the condition, and the type of seizure experienced indicates the area of the brain affected.
