ABSTRACT
The following SCAA guidance will be of use to the ICT coordinator working with colleagues to harness ICT opportunities for language development. The classic framework of Joan Tough describing language usage for learning may be of use in assessing language opportunities in ICT to develop the speaking and listening skills outlined in the programmes of study at Key Stages 1 and 2.
