ABSTRACT
Most children enjoy using and making 3D shapes. To encourage them to think more about the properties of these shapes, children should be asked to describe them (using the correct language and referring to 2D shapes). Teachers can use the following activities to give children the opportunities they need to put their knowledge into words.
