ABSTRACT
In this section we are looking at areas of development that we have witnessed or employed ourselves in our various roles within professional football. This is not meant to be an in-depth investigation into all aspects of development, as this is beyond the scope of this book; however, we will touch on areas we feel are the most important in terms of actual practice (rather than theory or policy) on the ground at the clubs visited and known to us.
