ABSTRACT

One of the best ways to create internal cohesion in an organizational setting, and at the same time safeguard and promote the culture of an organization, is to develop a cadre of internal cultural ambassadors-internal change agents and values champions-who live the organization’s values and deeply believe in the purpose of the organization. Over the past 15 years, we have come across many organizations that have developed an internal capacity for sustainable cultural maintenance and renewal. Some examples of the practices they have used for embedding the culture of their organizations are described briefl y below.
