ABSTRACT

INTRODUCTION More and more attention is being paid to the question: what works in health

promotion? Many countries focus on the issue: how to set priorities for health

in a more rational way, as budgetary constraints force them to reconsider

investment and insurance policies for health. In order to answer that question

systematic reviews are conducted. The problem of drawing clear conclusions

from publications is in itself difficult, but that is not the focus of this chapter.
